Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Classes
This class will be taught over 8 weeks(9 sessions) with participants meeting once per week to learn, practice and reflect on their experience using a variety of simple and non-religious meditation techniques.
Participants will practice what they learn in class at home for up to one hour per day and complete a 5-7 hour day of meditation during week seven of the class. This is an active and participatory class where participants will be expected to engage themselves in the practice of various meditation techniques as well as other self-reflective exercises and group discussions.
